MOUNT OLYMPIC | YUMA
Yuma is an exercise in structure and musical styles. It features a single guitar track in three very different iterations, each with their own adornments and musical identities. The guitar part itself eventually gets lost in each layered atmosphere, leaving the listener with the impression of three original pieces. It is an experiment in the aesthetics of song structure, and an examination of how divergent paths from a singular origin can lead to very different results.
Recorded at home at The Sweat Lodge in Nashville, TN
For this project Mount Olympik was J.R.B.
